If you missed the 3rd annual “All Girls Basketball Skills Camp” this past weekend at Overtime Elite Arena, you missed a good one! Christina Granville aka “Ms. Basketball” and the IHoopToo Foundation hosted a great skills camp for this group of young ladies.
From the start of the camp, Christina & all the coaches displayed BIG energy, making sure the campers and staff were enjoying themselves to the fullest. The atmosphere was positive and allowed the young ladies to learn new skills on the court, but they also took the time to give them some tips on off-the-court skills that can help them outside of playing basketball and be beneficial in everyday life (i.e. Self Confidence, Leadership, and Communication).
They even brought out Tiny Hoops! Tiny Hoops made sure all the kids (ages 3-5) had an area to work out in and build skills too! They wrapped up lunch with an exclusive tour of the OTE Arena and closed out the camp with a panel full of special guests to talk with the youth about opportunities beyond basketball. I can’t wait to see what IHoopToo has up their sleeve for year 4!
